Be aware, the lanes around the South Hams can be narrow in places, we recommend using the directions below rather than using Sat-Nav when leaving the A38 as it doesn't tend to follow the easiest and actual fastest route.

Our recommended route for avoiding rural lanes

• Approaching on the A38 [S], take the A384 junction towards ‘Totnes, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge’.  Continue along this road and follow signs for ‘Totnes, Kingsbridge’. 

• Once you come into Totnes, you will need to take a right turn for ‘Salcombe, Kingsbridge’ on the A381 and continue onto this road, taking a right turn at Stumpy Post roundabout towards Kingsbridge. 

• At Sorley Green Cross, take a left turn towards Kingsbridge. 

• Follow the road until the next roundabout and take a left turn onto the A379 towards Kingsbridge Town Centre. 

• Continue towards Dartmouth on the A379, taking a left then right at the next two roundabouts respectively. 

• Once you reach Stokenham, take a right up the hill at the mini roundabout. 

• Look out for our signage at the top of the hill, we are on the left.
